About Colleen Brezine
With over 25 years of diverse experience Colleen Brezine, CNM, MSN, has focused in on certified nurse midwifery. Her passion and goal is to provide care for women through focusing on and support their individual choices throughout their life cycle.
Educational background
Colleen graduated Case Western Reserve University in 1997 with honors alongside a Master of Science in nurse midwifery. Ms. Brezine is board-certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Work History
Colleen has assisted mothers in hydrotherapy for labor and birth since 1999. She also assisted opening the Holistic Birthing Center at UH St. John Medical Center in 2009! This center is the only hospital-based birth center in Northern Ohio, which is absolutely amazing. She is affiliated with University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake, OH and has privileges there. Colleen was raised on the west side of Cleveland’s has 10 siblings. She is the youngest of 11 children! She currently resides in Rocky River with her husband, John, and their three children.

Personal Experience
I have personally had Colleen Brezine as my own midwife and can attest to her excellence, honesty, support and good manners. As soon as I knew I was pregnant with my son, I knew I wanted a midwife. Markedly, I asked some friends and groups. Basically, most of them recommended Colleen Brezine for a midwife local to me. She did not disappoint! I specifically made sure I met some of the other midwives she works alongside in case she wasn’t the midwife on call for my delivery and the rest of the ladies were also outstanding. Although in the end she did not deliver my son, her associates were outstanding, caring and all ears for everything I wanted.
