History

Their journey began in 1984 within an old arcade in downtown Cleveland. They were nestled in a tiny storefront there. In 1988 they opened their own doors in Rocky River where they still reside now. This business is supported by friends and family over the many years and have had the honor to enjoy multi-generational relationships with many of these families. Through this continuous and strong support, Rocky River will always have a “real” toy store.

Once Upon A Time Rocky River has been in the same location for over 35 years and understand how important getting the right toy for your child is. They know toys best and can direct you to the correct area for whatever you’re looking for. The owner of this wonderous toy store is Jack, who is there daily to ensure every child find their perfect toy. He’s also always on the lookout for the best toys!
